It is a weaving workshop for demonstrations with exhibition area and souvenir stand.

ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM COLLECTION – SHIROKA LUKA VILLAGE

It is exposed in one of the most spectacular houses of the Bulgarian national revival style, typical for the people of the Rhodopes in Shiroka luka village – Zgurovski Konak. The collection presents the main features of the customs and culture of the local inhabitants: weaving and dairy farming, a traditional living-room and guest room as well.

HISTORICAL AND ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM –
MOMTCHILOVTSI VILLAGE

The museum presents the history of Momtchilovtsi village from its first settlers till our days. Priority is given to the local traditional craftsmanship – homespun tailoring of traditional clothes, masonry, stone-cutting, etc., presenting the main occupation of the local community till the middle of XX century. A gallery of paintings part of the exhibition shows art creations with themes typical for the Rhodopes region, drawn by famous Bulgarian painters, among which – prof. Mihail Karapaunov, born in Momtchilovtsi village.

THE CANYON OF THE WATERFALLS ECO-TRAIL

Near Smolyan the area of Soskovcheto natural reserve introduce you to the unique biodiversity in the reserve and its adjacent areas.The eco-trail is of total length 6 km, or a passage of 3 and half hours duration.The trail is designed to feature a variety of natural phenomena – centuries old trees, picturesque waterfalls spreading their veils across narrow canyons, rock formations of amazing share and forms.
